Credit Card Charges and Payments. Once you select the property you would like to stay at and confirm your acceptance for the booking, your credit card will be charged for 10% of the total amount of the stay. This amount serves to secure the availability for you at the selected property. This represents a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit and serves to cover HostelsCentre.com´s use of software, infrastructure, advertising and marketing expenses. Even if you cancel your reservation the 10% deposit will not be charged back to your credit card. By making a booking you accept these charges in return of our services. Hostelscenter/BCNLoft will appear in the description of the charge on your credit card statement. The rest of the amount payable for your stay is due on arrival or will be charged to your credit card on arrival if the property operator accepts credit card transactions. Some operators might require you to pay a further deposit on top of the 10% charged by HostelsCentre.com deposit to confirm a booking under certain circumstances like large groups, long term stays, etc. These special conditions are described on the property owners site and can be made by any method accepted by the property opertator like international bank transfers, cash transfer services like Western Union, internet payments systems like Paypal or Moneybookers, etc. All sensitive information exchanged between your computer and our site is encrypted using SSL. Our SSL Cert. is provided by Miva Merchant. This ensures that your information is transmitted securely and is safe from third parties. You should be aware that where you link to another web site from this web site, that Hostelscenter.com has no control over that other web site. Accordingly, Hostelscenter.com cannot guarantee that the controller of that web site will respect your privacy in the same manner as Hostelscenter. You will receive a confirmation email once you make a confirmed booking. You must print this receipt and show it to the property on arrival and for your own records.
